Veronica Jaramillo

Veronica Jaramillo (BSc Food Science 2024) attends McGill University based in Montreal, QC. She is an aspiring food scientist, and has a passion for dispelling misinformation within her community. Outside of her academic pursuits, she is a private piano teacher, a party princess entertainer, and rents out her converted mini school bus @kyriethebus!

Priscilla Leftakis

Priscilla Leftakis (she/her) graduated from McGill University in 2023 with a Bachelors of Food Science. She currently works as a quality control manager at Yourbarfactory, in Quebec, Canada. Outside of her professional endeavours, she enjoys travelling, reading fantasy novels and is passionate about educating others on food safety & food science principles!

Dana Nguyen

Dana Nguyen is a nutrition and food science student at McGill University. Hailing from a family of hypochondriacs, she often found herself steering her loved ones away from dubious health advice and food myths on WhatsApp. She seeks to use her knowledge on biochemistry and physiology imparted by her nutrition studies to examine claims about the effects of food on the human body, and she feels honored to have been given a platform by the Food Truth Project.

Marie-Jeanne Paquet

Marie-Jeanne Paquet is a multipassionate student of life, in all senses of the term. After completing a bachelors of Jazz Performance at McGill University, she is now studying to get her first cycle doctorate in Medicine at Université de Montréal. Her many interests have led her to work in research on ADHD for Institut NeuroPsy, perform on stages all across Montreal and become a voice coach. She believes in the power of knowledge and skill, but most of all, she believes in the power of connection, which makes sharing her knowledge one of the most fulfilling parts of both her careers.
